On June 22, HAR hosted our annual summer event especially for you, HAR's managers and brokers. The highlights of the event were a legal update from HAR Legal Counsel Dick Hargis, an update on all the recent HAR Tools from HAR's Technology Training Specialist Marilyn Maxwell and a very informative presentation from Real Estate Industry speaker Marcie Roggow on Risk Management in this new age of Social Media and Web 2.0.
Marcie's presentation expounded on the do's and don'ts of posting listings on all the new social media tools such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. She emphasized how important it is to adhere to the Code of Ethics even in these changing times through a fantastic dialogue with the audience and through providing expert examples of what crosses the line and what does not.
