Version 6 of the zipForm form-fill software, which all Texas REALTORS^® receive as a free member benefit,  was released on June 15.

You'll see many differences in the upgrades, including new names: ZipFormOnline is now zipForm Professional; ZipFormDesktop is now zipForm Standard; and new product zipForm Elite provides online and offline capabilities. (The new zipForm software is platform-independent, so Mac users no longer need a separate product.)

Here are some improvements you'll notice:

• Syncing capabilities between the desktop and online product
• Desktop and online products will feature the exact same interface
• Browser-based and platform-independent—no Form Viewer to install
• Improvements to the look, feel, and usability, including text guidelines on all toolbars, a sleek tabbed interface, and helpful how-to videos
• Improved PDF conversion capabilities
• New methods for adding forms into a transaction, including drag-and-drop
• Enhanced search and sort capabilities
• More complete help section
• Ability to open a form without creating a transaction
