The Houston Association of REALTORS® created the Management Central web site to benefit the over 3,000 managers and broker amongst our 24,000 members. The web site provides a central source for managers to find all the information they need on what is going on in the real estate industry. From how to manage a real estate office, how to recruit agents, and real estate industry updates, it's all on Management Central.
Managers also use Management Central to expand their contact base both via the web site and the annual event that HAR hosts specifically for managers. The original mailing list included the managers and brokers of HAR's largest 200 offices. Since then the distribution list includes approximately 3,000 individuals with more and more contacting us every day. For our annual event, notice is sent out via the web site and invitations are also mailed to the managers of the top 150 offices. Attendance at the annual event increased from 120 people our first year to 180 our second year and we anticipate over 200 this year.
In addition to the annual event and the web site, Management Central has begun offering training on TEMPO and on the various HAR tools specific to managers. Every year we expand the base of the Management Central operations to meet the evergrowing demands of today's real estate managers.
